Bourbon Red Turkeys are a farm favorite! Again they are an excellent homesteader's choice. They are striking with their red and white colors. We've paid special attention in making sure their complex and rich color patterns match the standards of perfection for the breed. They are a hardy and docile breed. They forage quite well, and do best with access to pasture. They are rated one of the best tasting turkeys out there, and we can personally attest to their deep rich flavor. We have selectively bred these for size and correct color. They are one of the friendliest turkeys we have encountered. They lay a large speckled egg, and they breed true. The are exceptionally hardy as adult birds and have no issues getting through our harsh winters.
